We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring the secure and effective management of medications, and providing exceptional patient care. Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including proper storage and handling of medications.
Support medication administration processes, including preparing medication for administration to patients.
Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and assist in patient care activities.




Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes through effective medication management.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a Community Pharmacy setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
Ability to administer medications safely under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
