Take on the role of Corridor Compliance Officer with the Ontario Public Service in North Bay. Ensure secure highway usage and regulatory compliance through effective inspections. In this full time role, you'll inspect highway corridors and manage permit evaluations and activities. You'll work closely with various stakeholders and resolve compliance-related issues while coordinating necessary relocations. Bi-weekly travel within the region is expected. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect highways for legal and safety compliance
Evaluate and issue permits for corridor activities
Coordinate with utility companies for relocation needs
Communicate effectively with partners and communities
Troubleshoot and resolve highway management issues Requirements:
Possess a valid G license for travel
Ability to apply policies and technical knowledge
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills for assessing permit compliance
Familiarity with Microsoft Office for data reporting Contribute to the safety and management of highways at the Ontario Public Service in North Bay.
