The Veteran Farmer Wellness Centre

We are a Veteran Wellness Centre with a primary focus on wellness and social support as a coping mechanism for mental and physical ailments.

The Veteran Farmer is hiring temporary full-time office support staff for our Edmonton, AB location.

In this role, the experienced candidate will take on the following responsibilities.

Reception duties, social media marketing, hosting social events, receiving and processing patient referrals, organizing and scheduling patient appointments, file maintenance, and data entry/maintenance.

This position requires a high degree of independent problem solving, managing multiple demands, trouble shooting abilities, shifting priorities and an enhanced ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing care to patients with many with complex medical problems.

Requirements

To be considered for this position,



the candidate must have the required following.
General scheduling, telephone skills, Microsoft 365 experience
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
3+ years of Customer Service

Preference for theses positions will be given to former CAF Members, First Responders, family members of Veterans/First Responders and as well RNs.

Additional helpful qualifications
VAC program knowledge
Medical office experience
Third party billing experience
Bilingual
