We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Welding Instructor to join our agile educational team. In this role, you will inspire and guide students through hands-on welding training, helping them develop essential skills for their careers. Your expertise will empower learners to master various welding techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities
Deliver engaging classroom instruction on welding fundamentals, safety procedures, and industry best practices
Supervise students during practical welding exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety compliance
Develop lesson plans and training materials that align with curriculum standards and industry requirements
Provide constructive feedback to students to foster skill development and confidence
Monitor student progress through assessments and hands-on evaluations
Maintain a safe learning setting by enforcing safety regulations and proper equipment handling
Keep track record of inventory.
Assist with any small- medium scale ongoing projects.
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve instructional methods and course content
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding, with strong technical skills across various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW)
CWB tickets are required
Red Seal or COQ is preferred
Prior classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Knowledge of safety standards and best practices within the welding industry
Certification or licensing in welding or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
A positive attitude with a passion for education and skill sharing
