Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form sub-assemblies or finish products using hand and power tools
Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, tubes and wires
Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques
Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts as required.
Check sub-assemblies and electronic assemblies and inspect finished products for proper quality.
Check mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for alignment and proper functioning
Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connections
Perform minor adjustments and repairs.
Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 pm.

Summary

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for assembling components and ensuring they meet quality standards. Reporting to the Production Supervisor,



you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively. Experience with calipers and warehouse operations will enhance your performance.

Qualifications
Robust mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools
Proficient in assembly and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
Familiarity with calipers and precision measuring tools
Experience with electronics will be considered an advantage.

We are located in a rural area so a driver's licence is a must. Job Type: Full time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
