Hamilton Container Terminal is looking for an experienced licensed 310T Fleet Mechanic to support our Brampton operations on a versatile part-time basis.

This role is ideal for an experienced technician looking for steady part time work with flexibility around their schedule. Hours can include weekdays, evenings and weekends depending on availability and operational needs.

The position will primarily involve maintaining and repairing our container chassis, underslung reefer gensets and Freightliner Cascadia highway tractors.

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain and repair trucks, container chassis, and gensets.
Perform brake, suspension, air system and electrical repairs on chassis
Diagnose and repair chassis lighting, ABS, air lines, wheel-end and related issues
Complete oil changes, filters,



lubrication and scheduled maintenance
Diagnose and repair common truck electrical, brake, air and mechanical issues
Keep equipment protected, reliable and ready for service

Qualifications
Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence required
Container chassis repair experience strongly preferred
Experience working with diesel gensets is an asset
Familiarity with Freightliner Cascadia tractors is preferred
Comfortable working independently
Valid driver's licence

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
