We are seeking a skilled and experienced builder to join our piece-work production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, constructing, and repairing pallets using a variety of tools and techniques. This role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with woodworking and machining, knowledge and experience with air tools and and the ability to work safely in a rapid-paced setting.
The Builder will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and durability of our projects, contributing to the successful completion of construction and manufacturing tasks.
Responsibilities
Repair and refurbish damaged pallets using woodworking tools, power tools, and hand tools to restore them to operational standards
Use tape measures and other tools to ensure precision in measurements and assembly
Conduct frequent inspection of finished product to ensure parts meet QC standards
Heavy lifting and stacking of pallets required - able to lift 50 lbs
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or pallet repair is highly preferred
Familiarity with warehouse and production facility operation and is advantageous
Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, calipers, and CNC machinery is desirable
Warehouse experience involving heavy lifting and material handling will support success in this role
Knowledge of construction or carpentry practices can enhance repair quality
