RECEPTIONIST / CASHIER

Scott Drummond Chevrolet Buick GMC is a family-owned and operated GM dealership that has proudly served Campbellford and the surrounding community for over 23 years.

We are looking for a friendly, positive, and dependable Receptionist / Cashier to join our team. This position combines customer service, reception, cashier, and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate is friendly and approachable, enjoys working with people, and is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a busy dealership workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming calls and messages
Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments
Balance daily cash, prepare deposits, and maintain accurate payment records
Maintain petty cash, gas cards, and dealer plate records
Prepare and distribute daily GM reports and record warranty-related transactions
Reconcile GM parts sales and credits
Coordinate drivers and prepare dealer trade paperwork as required
Assist with mail and general administrative duties




Help maintain a clean and welcoming customer area

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous receptionist, administrative, cashier, or dealership experience is an asset
Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable handling cash and working with numbers
Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a busy workplace
Basic computer skills
Valid driver's licence and clean driving abstract

HOURS OF WORK
Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Every other Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
On weeks without a Saturday shift, Friday will be a 4.5-hour workday.
