Are you compassionate, friendly, and looking for a meaningful role where you can make a difference? Kimberley Vision Care is looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our warm, patient-focused clinic.

This position is to cover a maternity leave, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate. We’ve proudly served the Kimberley community for over 25 years, and our long-standing team reflects the supportive, positive workplace we’ve built.

Experience is preferred, but we are happy to provide full training.

Responsibilities
Operate pre-testing and diagnostic equipment
Assist patients with frame and lens selection
Support contact lens fittings and orders
Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs
Manage reception duties, including scheduling, payments, and extended health billings
Support general clinic operations as needed

What You Should Know About This Role

Hours will vary based on clinic needs
Expected range is 24–32 hours per week
