Position Overview

We are currently seeking a warm, experienced Infant Lead Teacher. This role focuses on caring for and guiding infants in a calm, responsive Montessori-inspired environment.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting babies' early development while building strong relationships with families.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing infant setting
Follow Montessori and respectful caregiving practices for infants
Support infants' physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Maintain consistent feeding, sleeping, and care routines
Observe and document developmental milestones




Build trusting relationships with infants and their families
Communicate daily with parents about their child’s care and development
Maintain accurate documentation and classroom records
Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture

Qualifications
Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate (required)
Experience working with infants (12–18 months)
Montessori training or experience is an asset
Valid First Aid & CPR
Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality
