Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office operations, with proficiency in electronic medical records. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered setting, providing exceptional front desk support and administrative assistance.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming setting
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient flow
Maintain and update electronic medical records using Libre MD.
Check-in and check-out procedures, verifying patient information and health coverage is active and up to date
Prepare and organize patient charts, documentation, and other administrative materials
Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth daily operations
Ensure compliance with PHIA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times




Assist in medical billing
Keeping inventory of vaccines and supplies

Requirements
Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant
Proficiency in Libre MD EMR is strongly desired but not a requirement
Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
Previous experience working in a medical office environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience managing multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
Office experience with administrative duties including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
