We are seeking skilled Industrial Painters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in painting industrial equipment and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
Apply paint using various techniques including spray painting, brushing, and rolling.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete painting tasks.
Collaborate with team members to assemble and disassemble equipment as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Perform basic maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
Utilize basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
Demonstrate knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance workflow efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role is required.
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools effectively.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Robust attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
