Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to support tree care and removal services. This role involves assisting with various tasks such as dragging brush and operating a wood chipper, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of work sites. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic, attention to detail and safety guidelines, and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Duties
Assist with dragging brush and wood chipping
Support lead arborist with tree trimming, removal, planting and site clean up
Operate equipment such as wood chipper and chainsaw
Perform general labour tasks including dragging, lifting, raking and moving materials
Maintain safety standards across all job sites by following proper procedures
Wear appropriate PPE at all times

Experience




Prior experience in landscape maintenance and or ground labour is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with relevant equipment operation is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in varying weather conditions
A valid driver’s license is required
