Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in flooring installation, and related carpentry work. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of reading blueprints to ensure accurate installation.

Duties
Install various types of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile according to project specifications
Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct placement and layout
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed before installation
Perform tile laying with precision, ensuring proper adhesion and alignment
Use carpentry skills for framing, trimming, and finishing details around flooring installations
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure a clean finish and prevent water infiltration




Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Experience
Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction work is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and measuring devices
Knowledge of construction practices including blueprint reading and basic carpentry skills
Experience with tile laying, caulking, and handyman tasks is a plus
Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into physical work sites
Prior experience working in residential or commercial settings is advantageous

This position requires a dependable individual with solid attention to detail who can work independently or as part of a team. Applicants should be comfortable working in various environments, adhering to safety standards at all times. Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
