Duties
Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations efficiently and accurately
Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation; install new tires and balance wheels as needed
Assist with basic mechanical repairs under supervision, including replacing brake pads or belts
Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Communicate clearly with customers about service needs and recommended repairs
Support the sales team by identifying additional service opportunities that enhance vehicle performance
Skills
Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
Robust mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of automotive safety standards and procedures
Eagerness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive industry
