Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial environments
Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance or cleaning purposes when necessary
Conduct facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or equipment upkeep
Manage cleaning schedules efficiently to ensure timely completion of tasks
Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and effectively
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for restocking
Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards, adhering to company policies
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address cleaning needs or concerns
Experience
Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including the use of hand tools and power tools, is a plus
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and staff
Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or coordinating with team members
