You will support the chef by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent service to our guests. Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to support chefs and cooks
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
Support food handling procedures by following proper hygiene practices and safety protocols at all times
Serve food to customers or staff efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
Aid in meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation standards are met before serving




Follow cooking instructions accurately under supervision and assist with basic cooking tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control of ingredients

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and best practices in the food industry
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Basic understanding of serving techniques, meal preparation, and cooking processes
Willingness to follow instructions carefully and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
