Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Junior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in hair styling, customer service, and retail sales. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients look and feel their best while providing exceptional service in a professional environment. Prior experience is not required, as training will be provided to help you succeed and grow within the salon.

Responsibilities
Assist senior stylists with client consultations and preparations for hair services
Perform basic hair cutting, styling, and finishing techniques under supervision
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the work area and tools
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction
Promote retail products and upsell services to enhance client experience and salon revenue
Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients,



and handling payments
Foster a welcoming setting by communicating effectively with clients and team members
Stay current on industry trends and participate in ongoing training sessions

Experience
Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is a plus but not required
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential
Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is preferred but training will be provided for those eager to learn
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced setting
Willingness to learn new skills, take direction, and grow within the role
