We are seeking a caring, reliable and respectful COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER to provide individualized support to an adult male who lives with autism, seizure disorder and limited cognitive and verbal skills in his home and community. The successful candidate will support the individual to participate in meaningful activities, develop and maintain independence, build community, and enjoy a protected and fulfilling lifestyle. This is an chance for someone who enjoys working one to one, is patient and dependable and is committed to supporting an individual s choices, dignity, rights and independence.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have:

Experience supporting adults with autism, seizure disorder, and diverse support needs.

Experience in behaviour management

Current First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain it A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
