Vistamere Retirement Residence is seeking a reliable and efficient Full-Time Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure kitchen areas are clean and free from food debris, maintaining a secure and sanitary workspace.
Assisting Kitchen Staff: Aid in organizing and storing kitchen supplies and equipment as needed.
Waste Management: Properly dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and dining staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required. Training will be provided.




Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.

Working Hours
Schedule: This is a full time position with hours from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
