Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and cargo to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and trucks, to maintain optimal safety standards
Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately for record-keeping purposes
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in top condition
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery is highly preferred
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Ability to operate automotive repair tools for minor vehicle maintenance tasks
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely
Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
