Job Profile The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by performing scheduled and ongoing cycle counts of raw materials, components, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.

The Cycle counter reports to the IC & L Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Counting
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to the established cycle count schedule.
Physically count and verify raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods.
Start the cycle count batch; enter counts in ERP system, compare physical quantities against ERP system records
Perform recounts when discrepancies are identified.
Ensure inventory is properly identified, labeled, and stored

Inventory Accuracy
Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine the root cause.
Identify issues related to receiving, shipping, production consumption, material transfers, scrap, returns, or incorrect ERP transactions.
Maintain inventory accuracy targets established by the company.

Warehouse & Material Control
Identify misplaced, unidentified, damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory.
Support proper organization and labeling of inventory locations.
Support annual physical inventory activities.

Other Duties
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Materials Manager or management
Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Setting programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or manufacturing preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
Counterbalance license is a must
