Merit College is dedicated to providing a high-quality education and is committed to enhancing students' English language skills through engaging and interactive after-school programs. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated English teachers to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Teach enrichment English to students in after-school programs for grade 4--grade 8.
Plan, prepare and implement an approved English language arts curriculum.
Create fun and interactive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
Foster a positive and supportive learning workplace.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents on monthly progress reports.
Collaborate with other staff to improve the program.
Assist students with assignments and homework.





Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
Ability to foster a secure and fun classroom environment conducive to learning.
Ability to set rules and guidelines for student to follow.
