Lead Land Fitness Yoga classes as an Instructor with the City of Mission Recreation Department. This contract role offers opportunities to create a secure, engaging, and supportive fitness environment. The City of Mission is looking for dedicated Yoga instructors to teach weekly classes in a growing community. Instructors must exhibit clear instruction and demonstrate proper techniques for students. Experience in specialty fitness classes and collaborating within a team is essential to this role's success. Key Responsibilities:
Instruct engaging Land Fitness (Yoga) sessions
Ensure transparent demonstrations of techniques and modifications
Create a secure and encouraging environment for participants
Foster teamwork among fitness instructors
Maintain high-quality instruction throughout the classes Requirements:
Must hold an approved fitness certification
Relevant experience in specialty fitness areas
Group Fitness Instructor registration highly preferred
Standard First Aid training advantageous
