Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bricklayer to join our agile construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from current builds to restoration and renovation efforts, contributing to the creation of lasting structures that stand the test of time.

Duties
Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with precision according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Mix mortar and other materials to ensure proper adhesion and structural integrity
Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Operate power tools such as trowels, mixers, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
Use hand tools for accurate placement and finishing of masonry work
Assist with renovation and restoration projects by repairing or rebuilding existing structures




Coordinate with heavy equipment operators when necessary for material handling or site preparation
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and insulation of structures

Requirements
Proven experience in construction or masonry work with a strong understanding of bricklaying techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation related to masonry tasks
Ability to read instructions clearly, and follow them
Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols at all times on site
Experience with renovation projects and restoration work is highly desirable
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and finishing work
