Overview

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, willing to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in residential construction.

This position will involve working alongside experienced carpenters on a variety of projects including siding, steel roofing, renovations, recent construction, framing, trim work, flooring, windows and doors, and general carpentry.

Duties
Assisting experienced carpenters with daily tasks
Siding, soffit and fascia installation
Framing and general carpentry
Interior trim and finish work
Flooring installation
Window and door installation
Material handling and jobsite setup
Keeping jobsites clean, organized and protected
Learning proper construction methods and techniques
Working efficiently as part of a small crew





Requirements
Some construction experience preferred, but not required
Robust work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and working at heights
Able to take direction and work well with others
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Own basic hand tools considered an asset
Carpentry apprenticeship experience would be considered an asset

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
