We’re on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Barista to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our coffee shop, creating a welcoming atmosphere while crafting delicious beverages and providing top-notch customer service. Whether you’re pouring a perfect espresso or engaging with guests, your enthusiasm will help make every visit memorable. This position is perfect for someone who loves coffee, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a lively setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) for order processing and cash handling with accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met.
Assist with food preparation and food handling when necessary, including light snack or pastry service.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality or customer experience.
Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs promptly.




Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience
Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Familiarity with POS systems like Square or similar cash register technology.
Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Good basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and change management.
Experience in the food industry or food service environment helps but is not required—training will be provided!
Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and quality standards.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus.
