David Small Designs is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Design Technician to join our team in a full time hybrid role based in Oakville, Ontario.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in residential construction and detailing, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality drawing packages.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed drawing packages and revisions with speed and accuracy
Produce millwork detailing and coordination drawings
Assist with interior architectural detailing and technical documentation
Coordinate closely with Interior Designers and Architectural teams
Manage drawing revisions and updates efficiently across multiple projects
Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout all project phases





Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional residential experience (excluding co-op placements)
Strong technical understanding of residential construction and detailing
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Robust communication and coordination skills

AutoCAD (required)
SketchUp (required)
