Bonavista Physical Therapy Clinic is looking for a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Acupuncturist to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

We are a busy, client-focused physiotherapy clinic committed to providing high-quality, individualized care in a collaborative and qualified environment. We are seeking an Acupuncturist who is passionate about helping patients improve their health and well-being and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have an established client base and experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

This position offers flexibility in how you structure your practice. We are open to either a contractor percentage-split arrangement or a room rental agreement, depending on the candidate's preferences and experience. Details can be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide safe, professional, and evidence-informed acupuncture treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and treatment notes using Jane App.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment.
- Follow all applicable professional, regulatory, and clinic standards.

Qualifications





- Certification as an Acupuncturist or Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) is required.
- Current professional liability insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
- Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic is an asset.
- An established client base is strongly preferred.
