Backup Educator (On-Call)

Location: Beaumont, AlbertaPosition: Part-time / CasualSchedule: Monday–Friday, as needed

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Backup Educator to provide childcare coverage when the regular educator is unavailable. The successful candidate will help maintain a secure, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children of different age groups.
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, snacks, naps, and diaper changes.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare environment.
- Follow childcare policies and procedures.
- Support children’s learning, development,



and emotional well-being.
- Communicate respectfully with parents and other educators.

Qualifications
- Level 1 Early Childhood Educator certification or higher.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous childcare experience is an asset.
- Must be caring, patient, reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be flexible and available on short notice.

Employment Details
- On-call position with flexible working hours.
- Work will be available as needed.
- Wage will be discussed during the interview.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
