Duties

- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions confidently and providing personalized recommendations based on their needs
- Lead store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) operations, and inventory management
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an attractive and organized store environment
- Support sales initiatives through upselling and cross-selling to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue
- Supervise daily store activities, including staff coordination, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations
- Handle heavy lifting of merchandise and stock replenishment to keep the sales floor well-stocked and inviting
- Manage customer service interactions with professionalism, ensuring all guests feel valued and supported

Requirements





- Proven experience in retail sales, hospitality or customer service environments with strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage store operations effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills; familiarity with POS systems and computer operation is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically capable of standing for extended periods during shifts
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, filing, time management, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and compliance standards is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members
