Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, cookies, and bread with precision and care
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs, themes, and detailed embellishments to meet customer specifications
- Follow recipes and food safety standards to ensure high-quality products are consistently produced
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling baked items
- Package baked goods attractively for retail display or customer takeout while maintaining freshness and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area,



including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed

Skills

- Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with packaging techniques to preserve product quality during display or delivery
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and quality assurance
