To support this growth and optimize our manufacturing operations, we are seeking a Methods Programmer. The successful candidate will play a key role in programming and optimizing toolpaths for machining our complex parts, ensuring compliance with stringent quality, traceability and safety standards specific to our industry while maximizing machining efficiency.Main responsibilities:Create and validate 5‑axis CNC programs for precision aeronautical parts (structures, engines, critical components).Use specialized CAM software (e.G., GibbsCAM, CATIA, Siemens NX, Mastercam, Vericut) to generate optimized toolpaths.Read and interpret technical drawings, 3D models and aeronautical specifications (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.).Select cutting tools and machining strategies appropriate for materials used (titanium, aluminum, Inconel, composites).Run toolpath simulations to prevent collisions and validate cycle times.Collaborate with production engineers,



CNC operators and quality control to ensure part conformity.Document manufacturing processes according to aeronautical traceability requirements.Participate in continuous improvement of machining processes and reduction of non‑conformities.Skills and qualifications we are looking for:DEC or AEC in mechanical engineering, aeronautics, or a related field.Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent training with relevant experience.Experience with quality audits and regulated technical documentation.Strong command of CAM software for 5‑axis machines.In‑depth knowledge of aeronautical materials and machining processes.Ability to interpret tight tolerances and critical specifications.Familiarity with industry quality and safety standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.).Rigour, attention to detail and analytical mindset.Positive communication and teamwork skills.Working conditions:Hourly salary between $29.91 and $37.06.Group insurance paid 50% by the employer, including dental care.Access to a retirement plan (RRSQ) with employer contributions.Paid vacation weeks starting at hire, plus 6 paid days during the holiday shutdown.3 paid sick days per year.Possibility to accumulate the equivalent of 40 hours of time off per year.Annual reimbursement for leisure activities and personal development.Free and accessible electric vehicle charging stations.On‑site convenience store, with free coffee and hot drinks.Start date: as soon as possible.#J-18808-Ljbffr
