Drive forward the Yuuuluʔiłʔat lands initiatives as a Field-based Lands Program Manager in hitac̓u, BC. This full time role focuses on operational leadership and community engagement.Reporting to the Director of Lands & Resources, you’ll oversee the management of various programs related to land and natural resources. This includes budgeting, staff supervision, and policy development. Your efforts in building cooperative partnerships with stewardship teams will help ensure a sustainable, community-focused approach to resource management and land use.Key Responsibilities:
Provide operational leadership for land program management
Establish compliance with Yuuuluʔiłʔat laws and policies
Manage program budgets and funding agreements
Collaborate with Community Planning for resource strategies
Engage with external stakeholders for smooth operationsRequirements:
Degree in Natural Resource Management or relevant field
Minimum five years' management experience
Experience supervising teams and managing budgets
Knowledge of land-related legislation
