Augusto’s Grill is a newly established Italian restaurant in the heart of Leamington. Our mission is to provide guests with an authentic Italian dining experience, featuring fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and exceptional flavors. We are committed to delivering outstanding service and creating memorable moments for our guests through our passion for food and hospitality.

We are currently seeking an experienced cook. The individual should have a solid knowledge of preparing and plating, and work well with others. The individual will also ensure the high standard of food quality and that service runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

· Ensuring high-quality culinary dishes are being served to customers, and customers satisfaction is the main goal;

· Ensuring dishes are being served on an efficient schedule to increase restaurant overall profitability;

· Planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities;

· Identifying any problems that arise in the kitchen and resolving them quickly; and

· Monitor and develop back of house team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, assigning work and conducting training





· Collaborate with the kitchen management team to ensure productive communication and coordination between the FofH & BofH

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5+ years’ proven work experience as a cook;

· Secondary School Diploma required;

· Must have a valid Food Safety Certificate;

· Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing culinary talent;

· In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations;

· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

· Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
