Centre Stage Theatre School in Calgary is seeking Drama Instructors for its upcoming semesters. We need dedicated teachers to guide young students through the world of theatre.The school requires instructors for the Fall 2011 and Winter 2012 sessions, running classes Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Applicants should hold a BA degree in theatre and drama, have relevant teaching experience, and feel comfortable engaging children from three to sixteen years old.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct agile theatre and drama classes
Develop interactive lesson plans for ten-week sessions
Ensure a positive learning setting for all students
Teach at various Calgary locations as scheduled
Monitor and evaluate student engagement and progressRequirements:
BA in theatre and drama is mandatory
Proven teaching experience necessary
Must have a vehicle to commute to different locations
