We are currently hiring a Physiotherapy Assistant for a 35-hour work week starting May 30th. Under the Physiotherapist’s supervision, you will assist with both group and individual exercises designed to aid residents' recovery. Documenting treatment outcomes and helping assure secure mobility for residents are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting therapy exercises for residents
• Provide documentation of treatments and progress
• Aid residents with walking, sitting, and mobility
• Observe and report health changes to the team
• Execute treatments such as ultrasound and heat/cold therapy
Requirements:
• Must be a graduate of a PTA program
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
• Effective communication with residents and staff
• Previous experience in Long Term Care is valuable
• Up-to-date police check for the Vulnerable Sector
