- You can write, develop and maintain Python code for real business or data applications. Coursework alone is not enough.
- You have working SQL skills.
- You have advanced Excel skills.
- You have a completed bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics or a closely related field.
- You are comfortable completing a timed skills assessment before an interview.

About the Position

AutoShack is looking for a hands-on Data Operations & Project Coordinator to help organize the daily work of our Product Data team while also working directly with data, systems and automation.

This is not a pure project-management position and it is not a junior data-entry position.

The right person will be able to coordinate people and projects while also doing technical work themselves, including Python development, SQL, Excel, data quality and automation.

Automotive experience is helpful but not required. We can train the right person on our products, catalogue and fitment processes.

What You Will Do

- Coordinate the daily work queue for the Product Data team.
- Set priorities, owners and due dates and follow up until work is completed.
- Coordinate several projects and assignments at the same time.




- Work directly with data using Python, SQL and Excel.
- Develop Python scripts and tools to clean, compare, validate, transform and automate data.
- Maintain and improve existing Python processes and troubleshoot problems when they occur.
- Work with structured data including CSV, XML and JSON.
- Review data quality, backlog, errors and rework.
- Investigate recurring problems and identify the root cause.
- Help improve product, catalogue, fitment and SKU data.
- Coordinate work between our Kanata staff and offshore team members.
- Create checks and controls to improve accuracy.
- Maintain clear procedures and training material.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work.
- Use AI tools where appropriate while verifying accuracy.
- Coordinate with IT, purchasing, e-commerce, customer service, warehouse and management when work crosses departments.
- Prepare transparent progress reports and escalate issues when required.
- Perform other related projects and duties as required.

The existing posting already included daily queue management, cross-department work, data-quality investigation and automation; I would retain those parts while making Python development a much clearer requirement.

Required Skills and Experience

- 2+ years of professional project, workflow, operations or team coordination experience.
- Demonstrated experience keeping people, priorities and deadlines organized.
- Strong follow-up skills. You must be comfortable asking for updates and making sure outstanding work is completed.
- Professional Python development experience.
- Ability to write readable Python code without relying entirely on AI-generated code.




- Experience using Python for data processing, automation or business applications.
- Python libraries such as pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
- Working SQL, including writing queries to review and compare data.
- Advanced Excel, including:
- Power Query
- PivotTables
- XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
- formulas
- large datasets
- reconciliation
- Experience working with CSV, XML, JSON or similar structured data.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and data-quality skills.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Ability to document procedures and give clear instructions.
- Valuable judgment using automation and AI tools.
- Completed relevant bachelor's degree.

Strong Assets

- Project-management experience or training.
- Jira, Agile or Scrum.
- Power BI.
- ERP, PIM or MDM systems.
- E-commerce or marketplace data.
- Product catalogue or master-data experience.
- Automotive catalogue or fitment experience.
- Experience coordinating offshore or remote staff.

Selection Process Selected applicants will complete a timed skills assessment before an interview.
