We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and effective communication with both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport mail and packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages ensuring proper handling of items during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages as required during deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
