Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Dental Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office administration especially accounts receivables and dealing with dental insurance with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail. As a Dental Administrator, you will be responsible for daily monitoring of payments and accounts recievables.Your role is vital in creating an efficient, welcoming environment that supports high-quality patient care.

Duties

- Daily audit of payments ,insurance claims and accounts receivable
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling using dental practice management software such as Opendental,Dentrix or comparable dental software.
- Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently to address patient inquiries, appointment confirmations, and general office communication.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Greet patients professionally at the front desk, verify insurance information, and assist with new patient registration processes.
- Support billing and coding procedures by understanding dental terminology and dental procedures to facilitate accurate claims processing.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly.

Skills





- Proficiency in dental practice management software is essential.The office uses Opendental, however experience in comparable software will be helpful and train g will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and insurance billing processes.
- Experience working in a dental office environment with familiarity in front desk operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage electronic dental records securely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for interacting professionally with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
- Prior experience as a dental administrator for a minimum. of 5 -10 years is essential
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and general office equipment is required.
