Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including routine cleanings, orthodontic treatments, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Manage patient records using dental management software such as Tracker, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.




- Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and verifying patient information.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Skills

- Proven experience with dental assisting in a fast-paced setting, with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics preferred.
- Proficiency in dental management software including Tracker for scheduling, billing, and record keeping.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dentistry and oral health procedures.
- Familiarity with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy clinical environment.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques essential for maintaining a safe practice.
