Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote long-term dental health.
Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software such as Tracker ensuring all information is current and confidential.
Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance documentation with professionalism.
Assist with taking dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring safety protocols are followed for both patients and staff.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to infection control standards and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in dental assisting or related healthcare roles is preferred but not mandatory; we value motivated learners eager to develop their skills.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Tracker is highly desirable.
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and materials enhances your ability to support complex treatments effectively.
Familiarity with medical terminology helps in accurately documenting patient information and communicating with healthcare providers.
Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist or front desk assistant are beneficial for creating a positive patient experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient comfort.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
