About Us

Sooda Korean BBQ is a busy Korean BBQ restaurant located at The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment, keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, and support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, plates, bowls, utensils, kitchen tools, and equipment
- Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher properly
- Keep the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized
- Return clean dishes and equipment to the correct areas
- Take out garbage, recycling, and food waste as required
- Clean floors and maintain general kitchen cleanliness
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Follow proper sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service
- Communicate and cooperate with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical work




- Able to lift and carry restaurant supplies, dishes, and equipment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Previous restaurant or dishwasher experience is an asset, but not required
- Basic English communication skills
- Korean language ability is an asset, but not required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
