Duties

- Collaborate with teachers to implement Afterschool plans and classroom activities that cater to student needs.
- Assist with meeting students at the bus stop and walking them to Beamish.
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students.
- Support students in developing essential skills such as communication, math, and early childhood education fundamentals.
- Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students’ social-emotional development by fostering respectful interactions and encouraging active participation.

Qualifications





- Prior classroom experience or experience working with children in educational settings.
- Fu and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of teaching strategies and familiarity with special education practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and parents.
- Ability to assist with math instruction and support foundational learning activities.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
