Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialized mobile equipment and truck-mounted systems , is looking for a skilled and hands-on Electrical Assembler to join their growing team in Kitchener, Ontario .

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical assembler or technician with experience working on trucks, mobile machinery, construction equipment, or other heavy-duty equipment . The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing electrical components and wiring systems as part of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, harnesses, control panels, and related systems on truck-mounted and mobile equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions .
- Route, terminate, label, and secure electrical wiring and cables according to specifications.
- Install and connect switches, sensors, control devices, lighting, motors, batteries, and other electrical components .
- Perform electrical testing and inspections to verify proper installation and functionality.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues and identify wiring, connection, or component problems.
- Work closely with mechanical assemblers, technicians, and other production team members to complete equipment builds.
- Follow established assembly procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other equipment required for electrical assembly.




- Inspect completed work to ensure components are properly installed, secured, and functioning as required.
- Assist with equipment modifications, repairs, and improvements as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support the team in meeting production schedules while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler, Electrical Technician, Electrical Installer, or similar role .
- Hands-on experience working with trucks, mobile machinery, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or other heavy-duty machinery is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings .
- Experience with 12V/24V electrical systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with wiring harnesses, terminals, connectors, switches, sensors, relays, and control systems.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment .
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work around hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production team.
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and equipment assembly environment .
- Experience with PTO, electro-hydraulic systems, control panels, or truck-mounted equipment would be an asset.
