- Pinterest is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Android Modernization team in Toronto. You’ll lead the engineering team that is empowering Android developers at Pinterest to build up-to-date, world-class app experiences for Pinners and advertisers with high productivity, performance, and quality

- Lead, coach and grow a specialized team of Android engineers

- Set the team’s technical vision and roadmap in partnership with Client Platforms and cross-functional product teams

- Drive platform modernization that helps product teams adopt modern client architectures and build high-quality experiences

- Improve client stability, health metrics, browser compatibility, runtime frameworks and critical dependency currency

- Establish clear operating rhythms for planning, two-week sprints, risk management and monthly stakeholder updates

- Hire, onboard and develop engineers, creating an inclusive, high-performing team with clear expectations and growth opportunities

- Use AI to accelerate engineering workflows and modernization while applying judgment and verification to maintain code quality, security and reliability
