Callingwood Dog

Groomers is an upper scale Dog salon that specializes in a one on one grooming experience where every dog is special and not in a bullpen environment. We use only the best hypoallergenic products and interact with all our pet owners.

Responsibilities

- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and de-matting tailored to each dog’s breed and individual needs
- Assess each dog’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques and tools
- Handle dogs with patience and care, ensuring a stress-free experience for both pet and owner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming stations and tools in compliance with health standards




- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on grooming maintenance
- Assist with heavy lifting when handling large or heavy breeds to ensure safety during grooming procedures
- Keep detailed records of services provided, customer preferences, and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions

Experience

- Proven experience as a professional dog groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and current industry best practices
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and coat types confidently and compassionately
- Excellent customer service skills to build lasting relationships with pet owners
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy dogs, and performing detailed grooming tasks
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment where safety and quality are top priorities
