Job Summary:

Aura Custom Cabinet Design Inc. is a custom cabinetry design & manufacturing studio serving homeowners, contractors, and builders throughout the Annapolis Valley. Since 2012, we’ve built our reputation on providing quality custom cabinetry and reliable service.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Custom Cabinetry Maker to join our team.

The successful candidate will have proven experience and will work as part of a small team building and assembling custom cabinetry to our exact standards of quality from raw materials to final assembly.

Qualifications:

- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical shop drawings, and cut lists.
- Craftsmanship: A keen eye for detail, accurate measurement skills, and high standards for finished quality.
- Work Ethic: Highly dependable, organized, and self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift heavy materials (e.g., full sheet goods and assembled cabinets).
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:





- At least 2 years of proven experience in cabinet making
- Experience with CNC equipment

Key Responsibilities:

- Cabinet Construction & Assembly: Construct and assemble custom cabinetry according to specifications and detailed shop drawings
- Machinery & Tool Operation: Safely and accurately utilize shop machinery and a variety of tools such as saws, drills, sanders, routers, edgebander, and CNC equipment.
- Precision & Quality Control: Perform precise measurements, cuts, and joinery to ensure exact fit and finish across all builds; perform final checks to maintain our high quality standards.
- Shop Efficiency & Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace to support efficiency and shop safety.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to keep projects moving on schedule and communicate progress.
