Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Technician to join our team! In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Update payroll and HR data in Workday, finalize offboarding files, and ensure data integrity; Respond to questions and requests from team members and external organizations regarding payroll and Human Resources data; Manage the daily operations of business entities using Time and Labor, develop communications with operators, and make exception corrections; Analyze and process payroll-related journal entries; Process source deduction remittances as needed and issue Records of Employment; Distribute the workload among the various technicians; Provide support to the payroll manager and act as a replacement during their absences.
Qualifications To join our team, you will need, among other things: A minimum of 3 years of payroll experience; Knowledge of Workday or another payroll system, and a strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables; Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada; Membership in the Canadian Payroll Association or completion of some courses (asset).
