Exterior Finisher – Aluminum Louvres & Architectural Installation

Join our construction team as an Exterior Finisher specializing in architectural aluminum louvres and custom exterior systems. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented installer who can accurately read architectural and shop drawings and complete high-quality exterior installations.

This position involves installing aluminum louvre systems, diamond-pattern architectural features, aluminum panels, trims, brackets, and related exterior components. Precision is extremely significant, as all components must be installed according to approved drawings, dimensions, elevations, and design requirements.

Responsibilities

- Install architectural aluminum louvres, including diamond-design and custom-pattern louvre systems
- Read and understand architectural drawings, shop drawings, elevations, sections, details, and installation layouts
- Accurately transfer dimensions and reference points from drawings to the installation area
- Lay out louvres and architectural components according to specified angles, spacing, alignment, elevations, and design patterns
- Install aluminum panels, trims, brackets, framing, supports, and related exterior finishing components
- Measure, mark, cut, drill, and fit aluminum components accurately
- Ensure diamond-pattern louvres and other design features maintain consistent alignment and spacing throughout the installation
- Use laser levels, measuring tools, drills, impact drivers, grinders, saws, hand tools, and other construction equipment safely
- Install mechanical fasteners, anchors, brackets, and connections according to drawings and manufacturer requirements
- Complete exterior caulking and sealant work where required
- Check completed installations for level, plumb, alignment, dimensions, and overall finish quality
- Identify drawing or site-condition conflicts before proceeding with installation




- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, carpenters, and other trades when necessary
- Work safely from scissor lifts, boom lifts, scaffolding, and other access equipment when required
- Handle aluminum components carefully to prevent scratches, dents, or damage to finished surfaces
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and protect completed architectural finishes

Requirements
- Must be experienced in reading construction, architectural, and shop drawings
- Previous experience installing aluminum louvres, architectural aluminum systems, metal panels, cladding, or similar exterior systems
- Experience with diamond-pattern or other complex architectural layouts is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of measurements, elevations, angles, tolerances, and installation details
- Ability to accurately use laser levels, tape measures, levels, squares, and layout equipment
- Experience using drills, impact drivers, grinders, saws, and other construction tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete precision architectural work
- Ability to identify installation problems and make appropriate field adjustments while following approved drawings
- Comfortable working at heights and using access equipment
- Physically capable of lifting and positioning construction materials
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

What We Are Looking For We are looking for an installer who understands that architectural aluminum and louvre installation is precision work. You must be able to look at a drawing, understand how the system is designed, establish the correct layout, and install each component accurately.

Experience with aluminum diamond-design louvres and detailed architectural exterior finishing is a major advantage.
